Today was the day I felt mentally prepared for sinced mentioned by Coach Jamie the following week we would be running the Dream Maker! But I was precautious about my mild injuries and decided to go into the fitness center and do a good 15min. bike ride pushing myself as if I were doing the Dream Maker. I felt bad for the bike, for it was drenched in sweat afterwards:) After finishing the Bike ride I lifted lightly and did some good abs.

I ran from the Highschool up to the bottom of airport Dr. and took a left doing a loop around the Cemetery and took a road right that passes the Barber's house and headed under the overpass to the stop light by harts gas station. I went straight through the light and headed back to the highschool in 20:12. I need a GPS watch. I just assumed it was around a 3 mile run. But I felt strong and handled it well throughout the run.

I went and played a round of 18 holes at Thanksgiving Point. I played alright. Shout out to Bob and Jay for winning for the first time since ever! I couldn't believe we lost and our winning streak of never losing has ended... It's ment to happen with time. We bought them shakes at JCW's and I have yet to have a better burger than their Bacon Ranch Burger, Delicious!

Me and my Dad went to the Legacy Center and I biked a nother 30 min. at a moderate tempo.

Shout out to Connor Baller for getting me started in the Fastrunningblog community and getting a PR today in the Dream Maker!

Today was a good distance run. I felt strong the whole time and ran with a good group down to the railroad trail until we reached 3.3 out and then we turned around and headed back to Trafalga to cross state st. and from there we headed back to the school which was a shorter distance than from where we came.

After the run we worked out our legs in the fitness center which is always a walk in the park after a run:)

Shout out to Collin Morrison for making a great protein smoothie for the both of us! It was delicious.

Shout out to Connor Baller for actually being a baller today at Thoms house after practice! and a final shout out to myself for holding the record for most makes in a row! 20!

Today we had a fun grass speed workout at Sego Lily elementary. We did 10 X 60 sec. pick ups at 5K race pace and to be honest I personally felt like we went faster than 5K pace to start out the first 5 intervals, but all in all it was a great work out and I was able to hang close behind the head group of Connor, Thomas, Austin, and Michael! Shout out to them for a good job. Me and Chicken Nugget finished together and helped push each other to finish strong. During the pick ups I had to really push myself to keep going, I was feeling it from the previous day. Don't you all just feel the best (Extremely tired) after a good workout?! Congrats to all who participated.

Shout out to Sami for coming to practice today after a half days drive from Cali and for being a boss at Ping Pong and making me an awesome Bracelet that broke. ha. Lets not forget that she did jump into the SOLW today! Thumbs up to that.

Shout out to Ryan for letting us come over to play Ping Pong afterwards, and for his ginormous genealogy wall!

We probably did go faster, but its only for 60 seconds so if I ever was going to do that in a workout this one was ok. And those are some rad shout outs. Nice job in bball today

Dude just finished a new bracelet so just get ready for that! And @Connor in going to assume you were also complimenting my bball skills

Do I get one too? @sami and you did score some nice buckets today

Sami. You were our MVP, those shots you made were essential leading to our victory! Thanks Connor

Today was a high mile day, but from seeing my miles today you can tell I didn't go that far! ha. But, I went back to the High School and biked for a nother 30 min. We went over to the Highland Glen Park today for some of us to time our 3mile-5K time (Not a hundred percent sure of the distance)! We started up with a warm up (and shout out for all who left me behind) and than went to the starting line. Shout out to Ryan and Collin for pushing themselves and finishing strong. It's a more flat and down hill course than it is up hill so it's a PR course! Shout out to Coach Jamie for setting it all up!

We might do a night run tonight so I might update this entry later!

And here I've returned!!! Mwahhhahaha. Okay. I took my sister to soccer practice and then headed over to the Legacy center where I biked for another 10 min. and then I ran a mile on the indoor track. I also did an upper body workout. #Gottagethuge

When I went and picked up my sister I showed up early so I decided to run another mile barefoot around the field. That felt good.

Shout out to Connor for the night run and for almost getting us killed crossing the road... TWICE. Ha. We did 4.5 tonight from the high school to Vets Park and some little extra. Good job guys! Ohhh and let's not forget what Shenanigans means;) Don't become a victim of it, or you might lose your manhood!

Shout out to Thomas for bringing me his bike to ride in the workout today! It was a 4 mile tempo run and finish with high mileage! Thomas and Connor did super! I biked with them for their whole tempo workout and they held their pace and improved starting with their first mile at 5:41. Chicken Nugget did amazing as well. After they finished I biked back to the high school and ran a 3 mile loop. I was pretty tired:/ ha

Later I went to the Legacy center and biked some more and ran another mile on the track.

I didn't run today.. Unfortunately, but I did go hike Mt. Olympus today with some buddies  and that alone was a good workout! We probably went around 8 miles with all of our wrong turns and side adventures. But the hike up and back is around 7 miles in all together. It was very Picturesque and on the North side of Mt. Olympus, there was a down stream of air and so it just captured and filled that whole side of the Mt. with waves of clouds and on the south side it was nice and clear blue sky. So cool.

Spent the rest of the day with family:) Good day.

Today was an easy mileage day. We did a total of 6 miles (some of us), including our mile warm up. It was an easy day today due to our team pre season race coming up. It was a nice run we did and I felt great.

I had my toe chopped up today... So I could not run. I had my ingrown toenail removed. The doctor said I would be able to run tomorrow for the team pre-season race, but let's just hope that he's right and my toe does not bother me.

We had a pre season team race this morning at the Highland Glen Park with the LEHI XC Team! Me, Sean H., and Derek were representing as the Alumni's of the team. Shout out to team Purple for winning the race.

The first mile we clocked in as the head group in 5:17. I stayed with them until about 7:30 min. into the race and I started to gradually fall behind them. I came in at two miles around 12 min. and tried to just keep on going till the end. I do not have my splits for each mile but if I came in at 12 min. for my second mile than you have an estimation of my splits.

Shout out to D Will for ice bathing with us for the first time since being home from the mission! Welcome back to XC!

Overall it was a fun experience to be with the team and run my first 5K since being back from the mission.

Also, I bought some new shoes today called the Addidas Glide Boost.

Today we had a hill work out! We sprinted up/paced ourselves on Airport Dr. 9 times doing 90 sec. intervals. I was able to hold our pace equally on all of the sets which made me very proud of myself and those who also did it. On average we would make it just over the top of Airport Dr. and go back slowly to repeat. It was an insane workout but a great one! Good job everyone.

Afterwards we went to the Spring of Living Water! That felt great and so does my toe.

So the start of college has been a blast!! That is no excuse for not running though right?!

Today after P.E. (which got out early) I decided to go on a run up to the S on the side of the mountain. I felt super tired going up that gigantic hill to the S! I took my pulse for 15 seconds and I got 45 which would be a 180 and that was after walking for about a minute... I was dead. Going back to campus though was awesome cause it was all down hill and I cruised very well all the way. It was like 2.6 miles from where I started the time back to campus and I clocked in at a 14:25 which is good, but also all down hill! haha.

Today was awesome!
